Chris Patterson

Sergeant Major (Retired) Chris Patterson retired from the United States Army in October of 2014 after honorably serving as a 56M for 25+ years having enlisted in February of 1989. He is a graduate of Class 58 of the prestigious United States Army Sergeants Major Academy at Fort Bliss, TX. Since retiring, he has worked in progressively more senior positions in higher education to include Assistant Director, CENTCOM/AFRICOM Operations and College Programs for Central Texas College – Europe Campus in Kindsbach, Germany and Senior District Director/Captain, Campus Security and Support Services at Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Mr. Patterson continues to teach in the Political Science and Communication departments with American Military University (14 years) and serves as the Key Spouse for the 628th Medical Group, Life Guide with the Life Guides corporation, industry consultant on campus security, and member-at-large of the United States Army Chaplain Corps Regimental Association. Mr. Patterson is married to Anadis Collado of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Anadis is a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force and serves as the Group Commander, 628th Medical Group, Joint Base Charleston, SC.
