For Spouses of Deceased Members:
The U. S. Army Chaplaincy Corps Regimental Association is made up of all members of the Chaplaincy Family and their Spouses. We know that this is a very sad time for many Spouses and Families of our members’ who lost their loved ones since the last Reunion. We are reminded at every Reunion Memorial Service as each name is read followed by the sound of the ringing bell and Taps that we have lost one more faithful member. Together we gather to honor their memory and their service every two years.
There are several things we would like you to know:
- You have now taken the membership number of your Spouse and are the member of the Association. You are still one of us.
- The USACCRA Board has voted to waive your registration fee for the Reunion. We want you to attend especially for the Memorial Service.
- To register for the Reunion, please use the mail in registration form. This allows us more control to ensure that your registration fee is waived. Identify yourself on the form as the widow or widower of a USACCRA member. You can then complete your registration by identifying your meals, tours, etc. Mail the registration form to the address on the form along with your check (for any meals, tours, etc.) You will also need to follow the separate instructions for reserving a room at the hotel.
- If you have any problems whatsoever, i.e. transportation from the airport, please contact Kim Casey, the Reunion Chairperson. Her number is 713-882-2714.
Finally, to all USACCRA members:
If you know of any Chaplain, Chaplain Assistant, Chaplaincy Civilians, or Spouse that may have passed away since the last Reunion, please let us know. We do our best to collect those names but must depend on all our members to help us.
