memorial Day

Public Broadcasting System (PBS) broadcast the 25th National Memorial Day Concert on Sunday evening, 25 May 2014. It was a moving tribute to all Veterans, past and present, who have sacrificed so much when our Nation has called on them to serve. The concert paid tribute, as well, to the families of Veterans who have given so much in support of their loved ones.

Our Chaplain Family is certainly included in the tribute that was given to celebrate our Veterans. You who are reading this are among those who are celebrated by our Nation at this time. Some of you have or will be giving back today by participating in Memorial Day Celebrations around the Country. That is who you are, Soldiers of God who could otherwise sit back and be celebrated for your honored service. Instead, you serve even now and you are to be honored for that. Thank you for your service For God and Country. May God bless you and may God Bless America.
