Fellowship at Fort Belvoir

“I thought our chaplaincy network might enjoy a glimpse of our table fellowship at Fort Belvoir,” Chaplain (Colonel), US Army (Retired) wrote: “We had a total of twenty-two attending with a nice mix of retired and currently serving chaplains, NCOs and civilians. Award for the longest trek – Chaplain David and Janice Hicks. It was especially joyous to welcome Chaplain Jack and Phyllis 1797512_590655037676528_1132121372_nMarcom back after his recent (unexpected) heart surgery.

We remembered a number of our usual participants with particular family concerns, specifically Chaplain Jeff Young and Monika providing support for a family member and Diana Myers upon the recent death of Chaplain Glenn Myers. Other regulars were either traveling (usually to warmer climates) or fulfilling other commitments.

A word of gratitude to Chaplain Tommy Vaughn and Tracie who welcomed us at the Fort Belvoir Officers Club, offered the our invocation, and included other members of the Unit Ministry Team at Belvoir.”
